Marina Morgan leads the strategic development of New York City Opera as a platform for cultural diplomacy and international artistic exchange. Her work builds bridges between generations, industries and cultures through innovative formats and global partnerships.


A founder of The Morgan Impact, a Silicon Valley–based firm, Marina brings over 15 years of leadership across the technology, media, and entertainment sectors and profound understanding of how cultural institutions can leverage technology and cross-sector alliances to amplify their mission.


She has led transformation strategies for organizations of over 200,000 employees, directed large-scale cinematic and theatrical initiatives, and partnered with some of the world’s most innovative companies to design forward-thinking frameworks for leadership in complexity. Her research collaborations include work with UC Berkeley, exploring innovative leadership during times of rapid change.


Her work spans both coasts and multiple continents, guided by the belief that opera is a connective force — one capable of uniting generations, nations and eras.


At New York City Opera, she unites innovation and legacy honors its identity as “The People’s Opera” and mission that art can be simultaneously rooted in heritage and boldly forward-thinking.
