Angelica Stiskin
Choreographer

Angelica Stiskin is an internationally recognized choreographer, director, performer, and dance educator. She currently serves as the Artistic Director of the Joffrey Ballet School’s Jazz & Contemporary Trainee Program and its flagship summer intensives, Pre-Professional and SPECTRUM. Since joining the School in 2008 and being appointed Artistic Director in 2017, Angelica has been instrumental in shaping the next generation of dance artists. She also has played a central role on Joffrey’s international audition tour and partners with HEAT Convention & Competition as part of its national faculty.
Her choreography continues to receive national attention, most recently commissioned by Bloomberg Philanthropies for the grand opening of the Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC/NYC) and for New York Fashion Week collaborations with PatBO and Dior. Known for blending concert and commercial dance, Angelica’s credits span from stage to screen, including direction and choreography for fashion, film, and live entertainment.
In addition to her artistic leadership, she is pursuing a Master’s in Education Leadership at Harvard University, aiming to expand the role of arts education globally through both practice and policy. Her ongoing mission is to merge visionary movement aesthetics with educational innovation, elevating the capacity of the performing arts in contemporary culture.
