As part of its mission to make opera accessible to the widest possible audience, New York City Opera offers full-time students age 29 and under affordable ways to experience opera at its best.

$12 Student Tickets: City Opera’s Student Ticket Program offers a limited number of $12 tickets beginning the Monday prior to the performance, based on availability.  Students MUST present a valid student ID at the David H. Koch Theater Box Office to purchase or pick up tickets.  Two tickets maximum can be purchased under each valid ID.  Tickets must be purchased in person at the David H. Koch Theater Box Office or online. Call 212.870.5630 to check availability. 

To purchase tickets online follow these steps:
- click on the opera you wish to attend from the list below
- select the performance you wish to attend from the drop menu
- enter code STU1 in the promo code box
- select "Best Available" as your seating preference
