Celebrate New York City Opera's return to the newly renovated David H. Koch Theater at a star-studded concert featuring performances by Measha Brueggergosman, Amy Burton, Joyce Castle, Anna Christy, Joyce DiDonato, Lauren Flanigan, Marc Kudisch, Samuel Ramey, and Talise Trevigne.
This festive evening of selections from American opera and musical theater will feature works by Barber, Bernstein, Bolcom, Floyd, Gershwin, Golijov, and Stravinsky. The evening will also include a performance by special guest Rufus Wainwright and New York City Ballet will perform to an excerpt from Adams's "Hallelujah Junction."
American Voices is approximately 100 minutes with no intermission.
