Handel’s intimate comedy Partenope, a gender-bending tale of royalty and romantic entanglements, had its acclaimed New York premiere at New York City Opera in 1998 in this touching and fanciful production by Francisco Negrin.

Performed in Italian with English Supertitles and two intermissions.
