Whether it's high notes or high end, fashion and music have always complimented each other, now more than ever, fashion designers are venturing into designing for the theater. Art is now fashionable and fashion has become an art form. So, to celebrate this unique partnership, New York City Opera is delighted to invite you to its annual DIVAS Shop for Opera, one of the most anticipated shopping events in the city.

The event will be held on Thursday, May 20 at 82 Mercer in the trendy Soho shopping district. Promising to be one of the most successful and captivating fashion events of the year, it is sure to attract New York City’s fashionistas who are caught up in the cultural scene of the city.

In keeping with the benefit’s distinctive tradition, guests will sip cocktails and nibble on hors d’oeuvres while they choose from a diverse selection of alluring merchandise including donated vintage and designer clothing and accessories, leaving with prized gift bags. This year's private donations include fashion from such top designers as Bill Blass, Nanette Lepore, Versace, Rubin Singer, Chado Ralph Rucci, Manolo Blahnik, Zac Posen, Tuleh, DKNY, Luca Luca, Zandra Rhodes, Jack Spade and many more.
